“I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” A little ‪#MondayMotivation‬ from the late, great Maya Angelou‬. This quote is inspiring because it reminds us that our actions majorly impact others. Let’s make sure to make this week one centered around kindness, compassion and generosity. 

Every act of kindness makes a difference. Remember, that you matter and you have the opportunity to make this world a kinder place. This week, let’s all find ways to spread kindness. And keep in mind that all the little acts of love around the world are adding up!

Here’s a #funfactfriday for you: 75% of the human brain is water! These boys at St. Catherine’s Children’s Home in Kenya are some of the hundreds of children who now have access to clean water as a result of our Clean Water Access project. These children live in a place where water must be paid for from the city and the water in nearby wells is not safe for people to drink. These children now have daily access to necessary clean water!

There is always, always, always something to be thankful for. #realtalk

Remember to see the good! Despite what’s happening, there is always love to be found and that is worth giving thanks for. There is too much that is wonderful about the world to be brought down. We’ve seen this first hand when we’ve gone into the field to work with vulnerable children. No matter the situation, we always found hope in the children’s eyes and love in their hearts.

What a great quote to start the week! It seems that as people grow up, they sometimes forget in the magic of love. We know love really is the most powerful agent of change and that love always conquerors all! Spending time with children and working to make this world a better place for them has proven to us the true power of love.
